I wanted to take the opportunity to wish all my current anglers, and the new ones yet to come aboard Newhavens Ocean Warrior 3 a Happy New Year and all the best for 2014.
We are taking bookings for this year and still have the odd weekend date available along with some mid-week dates.
We are now looking forward to getting offshore to those deep water wrecks through the end of January and during February and through to March. We will be fishing for those big Cod and Pollock on the drift with lures.
So why not get yourself booked in for some great offshore fishing or call David Elliott for more information on 07966 377145.
Lets hope that 2014 brings some great fishing weather and big catches.Google+

Mid channel wreck fishing off Newhaven has been producing some big Pollack and Cod out on the deep mid channel wreck fishing trips aboard Newhavens Ocean Warrior 3.
Here is ‘Basher’ with afine Pollack that he caught while out on a mid channel wreck fishing trip. Basher caught the Pollack using a sidewinder lure by using the ‘gilling’ technique while drifting over a World War wreck off the south coast.
Mid channel wreck fishing is at its best through the months of January to March. This is when the big Cod and Pollack run through the English Channel.
So if you are looking for a mid channel wreck fishing trip off the south coast of Newhaven, give the skipper, David Elliott a call on 07966 377145.
We cater for individuals or part/full boat bookings for up to 10 people. We also have rod/reel hire available along with tackle and tuition to help if you haven’t been out on a mid channel wreck fishing trip before. Newhaven Marina also has free parking, a local convenience shop and a cafe if you fancy breakfast before you go out fishing.
Rab with a nice double figured Pollack, caught aboard Newhavens Ocean Warrior 3 off the sussex coast.
We were fishing offshore and drifting over a wreck using the gilling method, with a sidewinder lure. This sort of wreck fishing will start in the middle of January when we start running offshore to find the spratts over the wrecks. They are then followed by the Cod and Pollack feeding off them.
